Our Team

Dr. Allen Bierbaum

President & CEO

Allen Bierbaum is completing his Ph.D. at the Virtual Reality Applications Center at Iowa State University. He is one of the original developers of VR Juggler and has been involved in the development of numerous VR applications. Mr. Bierbaum has produced many refereed publications, technology demonstrations, and invited presentations. These include presentations at the top conferences in the field of real-time immersive visualization. He has been invited to CAVE™ software development workshops to act as a VR software expert and to teach about VR application development. His Ph.D. research focuses on software architectures for large-scale, distributed virtual environments.

Patrick Hartling

VP of Engineering

Patrick Hartling's interests include collaboration between programming language interoperability, heterogeneous virtual reality systems, and widely distributed environments. He is a developer of VR Juggler and has been involved in the development of many VR middleware projects. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science. He has been invited to teach VR application programming techniques at international conferences and workshops. Mr. Hartling has done VR Juggler consulting work for several companies including Deere & Co., Intelligent Light, and Glass House Studio.
